Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructor to join our educational team for the WINTER/SPRING 2025/2026 (starting early January/Feb). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The Instructor will work closely with students of different ages and learning abilities, utilizing effective teaching strategies. The Instructor needs to have experience in teaching elementary schools.
Requirements
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly desirable.
- Background in education, child development, or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an engaging learning environment.
- In need of instructors in the Montgomery county area (MUST be able to commute to Rockville, Potomac and Clarksburg). Especially Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays/Thursdays between 3:45-5pm.
- Able to work up to 5 hours per week, one hour per day.
- Preferred if you have MCPS badge or background check, if not that is fine too.
