Job Description
North Phoenix based small design and manufacturing company has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, organized, training scheduler/training coordinator to coordinate our training programs. You will manage schedules for trainers delivering sessions both live on-site at various job locations and virtually online. The ideal candidate excels at logistical planning, virtual platform management—specifically using WebEx—and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain master schedules for both physical on-site and online training sessions for 4 staff trainers.
- Generate, schedule, and distribute WebEx meeting links, calendar invites, and digital materials for virtual trainings.
- Allocate trainers efficiently based on their availability, geographic location for job sites, and expertise.
- Coordinate travel logistics and site access permissions, and material delivery for on-site training.
- Serve as the primary contact for trainers and trainees regarding schedule changes, job locations and last-minute cancellations.
- Track trainee attendance, completion rates, and trainer hours.
- Answer phones during high volume call periods during the day.
- Track and order supplies as needed for the facility
- Print marketing literature from a production order as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in scheduling, event planning, or training coordination.
- Proven, hands-on experience setting up and troubleshooting WebEx meetings, alongside advanced calendar tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Calendar).
- Strong geographic awareness and ability to calculate travel buffer times for trainers moving between physical job sites.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to handle a remote and decentralized workforce.
- High flexibility to manage shifting timelines across multiple time zones or physical locations.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
We are a stable, locally owned company entering our 43rd year of business as an industry leader. Work shifts are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No weekend or evening work required. Benefits include health, life, and 401(k) w/profit sharing. Local candidates only – no relocation provided.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
