Duties
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine acuity levels and prioritize care.
- Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, suturing, and medication administration following strict aseptic techniques and hospital protocols.
- Support discharge planning, case management, and patient education to promote recovery at home or in long-term care settings.
Requirements
- Valid RN license with current state registration; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Critical care experience
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner
