Job Overview
We are a patient- centered Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery practice seeking a motivated, detail oriented professional to join our clinical team. This role supports advanced restorative and surgical dental care, including implants, full mouth rehabilitation, extractions, and complex prosthetic procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast paced specialty environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures with proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and supplies for patient treatments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Record vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic medical records
- Maintain strict infection control standards using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.
- Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and dental terminology explanations.
- Manage medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and assisting the dental receptionist when needed.
- Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with all infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) with current licensure.
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, infection control, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge.
- Ability to operate X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures using appropriate dental terminology to patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
