Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of chilkdren with autism spectrum disorders. As a Lead RBT, you will serve as a key team member responsible for implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions and ensuring the highest standards of client care. Your role will involve collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support skill development and behavior management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example in a fast-paced, compassionate environment committed to improving quality of life through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position will also have dedicated time for administrative tasks as we build our newest community of care in New Mexico.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behavior.
- Collect data meticulously during sessions so supervisors can monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide mentorship of other team members and plan team building events
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments, ensuring consistency in behavioral strategies across contexts.
- Complete office administrative tasks such as organizing stimuli, filing, collecting mail and packages, and creating materials for clients sessions
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with current certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
- Understanding of ABA prinicples and behavior management techniques.
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Ability to take feedback and work with a dynamic team.
- Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
