Your hands-on expertise will ensure that properties are safely cleaned, dried, and restored to their original condition with precision and care. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls involving water damage, flooding, fire restoration, or mold issues, demonstrating readiness for urgent situations.
- Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials, perform demolition, or prepare sites for restoration work.
- Conduct mold remediation and asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols and industry standards.
- Assist with cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and debris removal to ensure thorough property sanitation.
- Apply respiratory protection equipment properly during hazardous tasks to safeguard health.
- Document all work performed using industry-standard software such as Xactimate for estimating damages and repairs.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) like respiratory protection.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving construction experience or specialized restoration techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred, especially with water damage restoration or fire and flood recovery projects.
- Knowledge of mold remediation processes, asbestos abatement, and general construction practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software enhances your ability to document damages accurately.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction-related tasks is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong understanding of respiratory protection protocols and safety standards within hazardous environments.
