TITLE: Child Nutrition Program Assistant Manager
JOB GOAL: To assist in management of Child Nutrition Program while demonstrating excellent customer service
To prepare and serve attractive and nutritious meals in a safe, friendly and efficient manner
FLSA STATUS: Non - Exempt
REPORTS TO: CNP Director, CNP Manager, and Principal
SUPERVISES: Assists in supervision of CNP Workers
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s (2-year) degree or higher preferred
- Current ServSafe® Certification or successful completion of exam within one (1) year of hire
- Good public relations skills
- Ability to master basic computer skills and essential software including email, current St Clair County CNP point of sale software and on-line ordering programs
- Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment and/or certification licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with large and/or diverse groups
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist in the supervision and development of assigned personnel according to school system procedures
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, organization, collaboration, and planning skills to accomplish school goals and job requirements
- Possess and maintain required health certifications including tuberculin skin test results
- Strength, stamina, agility, dexterity, and acuity to perform job responsibilities safely and effectively
- Ability, agility and stamina to engage in prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, turning, reaching, and repetitive lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability and willingness to work after hours, weekends, or holidays when necessary
- Ability to be punctual and in regular attendance
