We are seeking an experienced Treatment Nurse to lead our dedicated staff in delivering exceptional care to residents. The ideal candidate is wound certified and has experience in a skilled nursing or hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and nursing personnel on residents’ dermatologic disorders.
* Work with the Care Planning Team to assess and develop skin care treatment plans.
* Initiate consultations and address requests from residents, physicians, and nursing staff.
* Conduct thorough examinations to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings, ensuring timely physician referrals.
* Implement and communicate skin care treatment policies to relevant parties.
* Provide comprehensive reports to attending physicians and the Medical Director about residents’ care.
* Participate in the interdisciplinary Care Plan Team to create effective care plans.
* Identify and treat various skin disorders and lesions.
Qualifications:
* Current, unencumbered LVN license in California.
* Wound certification preferred.
* Current CPR certification required.
* Must pass a pre-employment background check and physical.
* Experience with Point Click Care is a plus.
