Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with children of varying ages, focusing on treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Duties .
- Provide therapy sessions that focus on improving communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech pathology.
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and acute care practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production..
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate approach with a strong desire to help others improve their communication abilities.
