Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, alignments, and other basic repairs. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with automotive tools. Prior dealership or service technician experience is a plus. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections efficiently and accurately
- Conduct wheel alignments and tire services to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, filter replacements, and light repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during service procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support the team with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment as needed
- Assist in upselling additional services or maintenance packages to customers in a professional manner
Experience
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment essential
- Prior experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general vehicle repairs advantageous
- Service technician experience that includes customer interaction is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge combined with strong attention to detail is necessary for success in this role
