Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all work areas are organized and sanitary.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Support food service staff by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting dining areas promptly.
- Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas to uphold health and safety standards.
- Assist with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all necessary dishware and utensils are available and properly arranged.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing tables, food preparation, and cleaning.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and guests.
- Basic understanding of hospitality operations including catering, banquet service, and hotel experience is a plus.
