Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Handle commercial cleaning duties in various settings including offices, warehouses, and residential properties.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the building.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
