Hospitality Construction Project Assistant Superintendent
Hobbs, New Mexico
Job Description
As an Assistant Superintendent at Greenstreet, you'll work alongside the Project Superintendent to help drive our job sites forward, and you'll be building the foundation of a career in construction leadership at the same time. This role is more than labor. It's a training ground for the organization, communication, and people-leadership skills that define a great superintendent. If you're dependable, hungry to grow, and ready to take on real responsibility, this is where that path starts. Key responsibilities include:
Site Support and Organization: Assist in managing daily on-site operations, including coordinating trade partners, obtaining tools and materials, receiving and handling deliveries, and keeping the site clean, safe, and organized.
Leadership in Training: Work directly under the Superintendent to learn how to lead trade partners, run meetings, and manage a job site with the same standard of quality, safety, and accountability Greenstreet is known for. This role is a proving ground for future project leadership.
Communication and Coordination: Maintain regular, clear communication with the project owner's staff and trade partners, ensuring everyone stays aligned on the plan and their commitments to it.
Dependability: Be the person the Superintendent can count on. Show up, follow through, and take ownership of assigned tasks without needing to be asked twice.
Daily Execution: Support project documentation, daily logs, and clean-up efforts, and take on additional responsibilities as assigned, always looking for ways to add value beyond the task in front of you.
Growth Mindset: Bring a genuine desire to learn the trade, understand the full scope of project leadership, and grow into a role with greater responsibility over time.
