Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operating Embroidery Manager to lead our embroidery production operations. Duties
- Lead and manage the embroidery production team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement
- Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer deadlines while optimizing resource utilization
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with supply chain management to coordinate raw material procurement, inventory levels, and supply chain analytics for seamless operations
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis related to production metrics, capacity planning, and process performance tracking
- Drive lean management initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency
- Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime in embroidery machinery
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between design, quality assurance, supply chain, and operations teams for smooth workflow execution
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in apparel or textile industries involving embroidery or assembly processes
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise resource planning platforms; experience with MRP systems is essential
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff in a fast-paced setting
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles including procurement, logistics, and inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge related to embroidery machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Effective cross-functional communication skills to coordinate activities across departments effectively
