The Opportunity:
Workplace Interiors – Project Architect has overall responsibility for site visits and code reviews and QA/QC. Project Architect will also be responsible for the technical production of design and construction documents. We are seeking an individual with strong technical and communication skills working within the design team to create exemplary interiors to suit clients’ and users’ needs. Assist the Project Manager and Design Lead with projects from inception through completion including all design phases, client interaction, schedule and financial performance. A self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform site surveys and document existing conditions to support project planning and design development.
- Conduct architectural code reviews to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
- Prepare work plans for the design and technical teams
- Act as a BIM lead and BIM manager and creation of Revit models for project inception
- Prepare construction documents, technical drawings, and project specifications for all phases of design and construction.
- Coordinate project documentation with engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integration across disciplines.
- Conduct and perform QA/QC reviews of project documents to verify design intent, code compliance, completeness, constructability, and overall accuracy of drawing sets and specifications.
- Attend construction and project coordination meetings, responds to Requests for Information (RFIs) and issue addenda as required.
- Perform construction administration services, including regular site visits, field observations, and preparation of site reports.
- Review shop drawings, product submittals, and material samples for conformance with project requirements and design intent.
- Prepare punch lists and verify completion of corrective work during project closeout.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff, supporting their professional development and project execution responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant Workplace Interiors experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- the ability to work effectively with others in a challenging fast paced work environment.
- Strong knowledge of building codes.
- Ability to research, develop and effectively communicate technical requirements to clients, consultants and the design teams
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- High Proficiency with Revit Bluebeam, and AutoCAD required. Proficiency with 3D Max, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, PowerPoint, and other related design software a plus
- NCIDQ or RA accreditation required.
- LEED AP ID+C accreditation preferred.
- Works collaboratively in team environments and exhibits flexibility.

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographical work location.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
