American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Respiratory Intermediate Care position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Cerner EMR skills.

39-bed private room Medical/Surgical/Respiratory Intermediate Care unit

Respiratory intermediate care patient population

Cerner EMR in use
-
Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)

Every other weekend required
-
Floating to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita may be required
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact state required
-
Current BLS certification required; must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Full Social Security Number and US address required
-
Driver's license copy required for consideration
-
Two professional references required for consideration
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred but not required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)

MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred but not required

Holiday coverage is required for both July 4th and Labor Day

Local candidates are eligible to apply; a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
