Engaged Living Seniors has multiple clients needing care in Buckhead. This is a great opportunity to earn consistent income from one location, providing care exclusively to patients in their homes.
We are an established and well-respected home care organization seeking Certified Nursing Assistants with a genuine passion for caring for seniors. We currently serve several counties across metro Atlanta and are looking for excellent CNAs in the surrounding areas. We're committed to providing quality care to every client we serve, and we're looking for caregivers who share that commitment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and/or homemaker services on an hourly basis, following the plan of care assigned by the supervising RN
- Inform the RN promptly of any unexpected changes in a patient's condition
- Proactively keep certifications and credentials up to date
- Follow the agreed-upon schedule and notify your supervisor of any scheduling changes
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures for client care
- Conduct yourself professionally at all times while providing care
Requirements
- Listed as active on the Nurse Aide Registry and certified by the State Department of Health, with no findings related to client abuse or misappropriation of client property (certification required prior to hire)
- Must pass a competency evaluation of skills performed under RN supervision
- Current CPR certification, First Aid certification, and a current negative TB skin test (or equivalent, such as a chest X-ray)
- Must have a dependable mode of transportation
- Valid state driver's license and current auto liability insurance
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year of experience with vital signs (preferred)
- 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred)
Preferred but not required: Hospice experience and/or prior work with Alzheimer's/dementia patients
