About Us
Nick’s Roofing is expanding into the Madison, WI area, and we are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Roofing & Siding Production / Field Manager to help run daily field operations.
This person will help manage roofing and siding projects from material ordering through job completion. The Madison office is expected to handle around 1-3 roof projects per day, along with siding projects as they come in, so we need someone who can stay organized, communicate well, and keep crews moving efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
The Roofing & Siding Production / Field Manager will be responsible for day-to-day production and field support, including:
- Ordering roofing, siding & gutters materials for upcoming jobs
- Scheduling crews and coordinating job start dates
- Checking on active roofing and siding job sites
- Making sure crews have the materials, tools, and supplies they need
- Running materials to crews when needed
- Communicating with installers, suppliers, sales reps, and office staff
- Making sure jobs are staying on schedule
- Helping solve jobsite issues as they come up
- Verifying that roofing and siding work is being completed properly and safely
- Taking jobsite photos and providing updates when needed
- Helping ensure customers receive a professional experience from start to finish
Ideal Candidate
The ideal person for this role is organized, dependable, and comfortable being in the field. Roofing and siding experience is strongly preferred.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience with roofing and siding projects
- Understands basic roofing and siding materials
- Can communicate effectively with roofing and siding crews
- Can schedule crews and coordinate jobsite needs
- Is comfortable driving between job sites throughout the day
- Can solve problems quickly and professionally
- Is reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Can work independently without being micromanaged
- Has good communication skills
- Is comfortable using a phone for calls, texts, photos, and job updates
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in roofing, siding, or exterior remodeling preferred
- Ability to lift and move materials when needed
- Ability to work outdoors and visit active job sites
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
Schedule
Full-time position. Schedule may vary depending on production needs, weather, and job volume. Some early mornings may be required to make sure crews are set up properly.
Compensation
Pay is based on experience. We are looking for the right person who can grow with our Madison office as we expand.
