Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all front desk activities, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Lead and motivate the front desk team to deliver outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Manage hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest requests and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure financial accuracy and reporting at the end of each shift.
- Implement hotel emergency procedures swiftly and effectively to ensure guest safety and operational continuity.
- Cultivate positive guest relations by proactively addressing concerns, providing personalized service, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with familiarity using property management systems like OPERA.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills complemented by problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest services best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills via phone and in person, demonstrating professionalism and hospitality etiquette.
- Previous resort or hotel experience is preferred to understand the nuances of luxury hospitality environments.
