THE ROLE
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, picking, staging, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse. This position regularly operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to support production and customer deliveries.
Work Schedule: 6AM-3PM
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Pick, stage, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Scan all inventory transactions accurately using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform inventory transfers, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper stock rotation.
- Supply raw materials and finished goods to production as required.
- Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S and good housekeeping practices.
- Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or process issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with warehouse organization, labeling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work overtime and weekends as required to meet business needs.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the workday.
- Work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- 6+ months experience working in a warehouse
- Inventory management experience
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and inventory records
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to multi-task, handling numerous assignments simultaneously
- Detail-oriented; ability to make quick decisions
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and inventory control skills
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Starting pay of $18.00/hour – Weekly Pay (Every Friday)
