Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive support for real estate transactions, estate planning, and related legal matters. Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing real estate documents such as purchase agreements, title reports, deeds, and leases.
- Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support project management activities related to real estate transactions and legal cases, coordinating deadlines and communication among stakeholders.
- Prepare legal correspondence, summaries, and reports with precision using Word processing tools; proofread all documents for accuracy.
- Handle client communication professionally via phone and email; assist in interviewing clients or witnesses as needed.
- Review contracts, legal documents, and case materials for completeness; assist with document review processes.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information related to clients’ legal matters.
- Support litigation processes including civil litigation support, document review, and case organization.
- Conduct legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to gather pertinent case law or statutory information.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, transcription, and maintaining procedural law records.Requirements
- Proven paralegal experience or legal support experience in a law office setting; familiarity with real estate law strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, family law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law or general & commercial litigation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage document management system, PCLaw or similar case management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent legal research skills with attention to detail; capable of handling complex procedural requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; professional phone etiquette required.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and ethically at all times.
- Experience with legal drafting, proofreading, document review and client communication is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, transcription and document management systems is essential.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
