About Love & Honey
Love & Honey is a fast-growing, chef-driven fried chicken brand known for bold flavors, crave-worthy comfort food, and high standards. We’re bringing these flavors and something special to Brooklyn—and we’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and treat the business like it’s their own.
This is not a desk job. This is a leadership role for someone who knows how to run a restaurant end-to-end.
The Role
The General Manager is fully accountable for the performance of the Brooklyn location. You own the floor, the team, the guest experience, and the numbers. Your job is to run a tight operation, build a strong culture, and consistently deliver great food and service—every day, every shift.
You’ll work closely with ownership, but you are the on-site leader responsible for execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Financial Performance
- Own daily operations, including opening/closing, staffing, and shift execution
- Manage labor, food costs, and controllables to hit performance targets
- Monitor sales, cash handling, inventory, and waste
- Ensure all brand standards, recipes, and operating procedures are followed
Team Leadership & Culture
- Hire, train, schedule, and lead the full restaurant team
- Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable
- Build a positive, high-performance culture with low turnover
- Coach Assistant Managers and key team members for growth
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, high-quality service
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues in real time
- Lead by example on the floor during peak hours
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health department standards
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times
- Enforce safety procedures and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years managing a restaurant or QSR location (GM level)
- Ownership Mentality: You treat the P&L, team, and guest experience like it’s your business
- Leadership: Strong people manager who can motivate, coach, and hold standards
- Execution: Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
- Availability: Willing to work nights, weekends, and peak service hours
- Reliability: Consistent, accountable, and hands-on
Why This Role Is Different
- You’re not just “managing shifts”—you’re running the store
- Clear accountability and trust from ownership
- Opportunity to grow with future locations and expanded responsibility
- Strong brand, strong product, and real upside for top performers
What We Offer
- Competitive base compensation
- Performance-based bonuses tied to store results
- Free meals during shifts
- Paid training and onboarding
- Growth opportunities as the brand expands
- A respectful, ownership-aligned work environment
If you’re a proven restaurant leader who wants real responsibility, real trust, and the chance to build something great in Brooklyn, we’d love to talk.
