Overview

Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans.
- Perform wood framing to prepare structures for finishing.
- Install fixtures such as lighting, cabinetry, shelving, and hardware with precision and attention to detail.
- Use fabrication techniques for custom woodwork or metal components.
- Perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical instructions for complex installation projects.
- Assist with siding installation, rebar placement, light plumbing, light electrical, flooring installation, tile laying, and many other related construction tasks as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in finish carpentry and installation roles within the construction or restoration industry.
- Skilled in trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture setup.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills and sanders; and heavy equipment if necessary.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for precise project execution.
- Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Background in remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile work, drywall finishing or painting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout demanding workdays.
