JOB SUMMARY
The EHR Analyst will be a member of the IT team for Optimae LifeServices and support over 1,400 computer users across the state. This employee will report to the Director of IT.
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate degree and/or two or more years of experience in a related field are preferred.
- Microsoft Server and Microsoft SQL Server, and business intelligence software experience preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must display the aptitude and willingness to work closely with the staff, consumers, and partner vendors.
- Must have excellent communication and networking skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Install, configure, and maintain Optimae’s electronic health records software suite.
- User provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues and trouble tickets pertaining to electronic health records systems while documenting processes and outcomes using an electronic ticketing system.
- Monitoring of SQL instances, web servers, applications, and remote application delivery protocols to ensure uptime of critical systems as well as aid in disaster recovery planning and exercises.
- Use remote technologies where applicable to troubleshoot systems and end-user issues.
- Provide ad hoc database-level reporting and create data structures for the Director of IT and other business partners.
- Plan future system enhancements and carry out projects in line with best practices to meet the growth and organizational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This position does require occasional travel to additional locations.
