Associate Operators support the manufacturing of PTFE billets used to produce seals by operating presses, ovens, and related equipment. This role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate molding presses, ovens, and related equipment
- Load/unload materials and follow standard work instructions
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Accurately complete production and labor documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S)
- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or incidents
- Participate in team-based continuous improvement efforts
- Overtime may be required based on production demand
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- No prior experience required (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Physical & Work Environment
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to wear PPE (safety glasses and safety shoes)
