The Office of U.S. Senator Tina Smith is accepting applications for fall legislative interns in her Washington, DC office. This is a paid position. Legislative interns are paired with a legislative staff member who works on the intern's policy issue of interest and will assist this staffer with policy research as well as attending committee hearings and other Senate events. Interns will be selected based on the quality of their application and demonstrated commitment to public service. College students and recent college graduates are eligible to apply. Minnesota ties are preferred.
