IMC Charleston is a full-service Community Management Company located in Charleston, SC servicing single family, condo, and commercial associations. We are currently seeking a full time, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, and amenities. The ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Electrical trouble shooting and repair
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to work in a changing environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Roofing experience
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Completes assigned work orders generated from managers requests for service as well as preventative maintenance on the property
- Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools and other items.
- Tracking inventory used, returning unused items to the established location.
- Completes documentations and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and completed fashion so that services can be documented and tracked.
- Support cost- cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with owners, Board of Directors, committee members, and vendors when presented.

Minimum Requirements: At least 3 plus years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Requirements: Certifications are a plus and Personal Work Truck
