Lead Generation & Appointment Setter
The business developer is responsible for generating new inspection opportunities through neighborhood canvassing and face-to-face conversations with homeowners. Their primary objective is to identify potential roofing prospects, build interest, and schedule inspection appointments for the Sales role. This role serves as the front line of the company's outbound lead generation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent Monday through Friday field schedule between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (flexible hours available)
- Knock a minimum of 50 doors per day and 250 doors per week.
- Canvass residential neighborhoods, recent storm-affected areas, and communities surrounding completed customer projects.
- Follow the approved door-knocking script during every homeowner interaction.
- Represent the company professionally through appearance, communication, and conduct.
- Build rapport and establish credibility with homeowners during brief doorstep conversations.
- Overcome common homeowner objections using approved responses and sales processes.
- Use the contact form to collect homeowner contact information, property details, and lead source information.
- Schedule qualified inspection appointments directly on the calendar
- Leave company marketing materials at every property visited, including no-answer homes whenever permitted.
- Record daily activity including doors knocked, conversations held, appointments set, and appointments completed.
- Maintain accurate territory records to prevent duplicate canvassing efforts.
- Generate referrals from homeowners whenever appropriate.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
