Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Job Description:
Hiring a construction laborer/grade checker with experience in site work and underground utilities, or a strong willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, site preparation, grading, and general labor duties
- Check grades using laser levels, grade rods, and other equipment
- Ability to read grade stakes, plans, or blueprints preferred
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
- Help with setting up and cleaning construction sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Collaborate with construction workers to complete projects in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures
Qualifications:
-Drivers License/Transportation to and from work
- Prior experience in construction or related field preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
