Ada Conservatory of Music is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, music-minded Manager to oversee daily studio operations and help create an amazing experience for our students, families, and teachers.
We are looking for someone who naturally brings positive energy into a room, enjoys talking with families, and can keep things organized and running smoothly—even during our busiest lesson hours.
This position will begin at approximately 30 hours per week during afternoon and evening times Monday -Thursday and will expand to M-F when school starts and occasional Saturdays and may grow up to full-time as our lesson schedule becomes busier.
What You’ll Do
- Bring positive energy to the studio and create a fun, welcoming experience for students and families
- Oversee daily lesson operations and keep the studio running smoothlyAssist families with scheduling and lesson-related questions
- Communicate confidently and cheerfully with parents by phone, text, email, and in person
- Handle customer concerns and find thoughtful solutions to tricky situationsHelp match students with teachers based on personality, goals, instrument, and availability
- Support students and families through teacher or schedule transitionsExplain studio policies clearly and professionally
- Notice concerns that could lead to unhappy families or student withdrawals
- Work with our Teacher Liaison to support teacher communication, retention, morale, and studio culture
- Assist with teacher onboarding, recitals, studio events, and community activities
- Complete front desk and administrative tasksKeep the studio tidy and assist with basic light cleaning
- Communicate important concerns and updates to school leadership
- Notice problems, take initiative, and follow through until tasks are complete

- Are organized, dependable, and able to manage changing priorities
