Duties
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service to ensure top-tier quality and efficiency.
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to foster a motivated, knowledgeable team capable of delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
- Manage inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations and minimize waste.
- Supervise shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels, smooth workflow, and timely service across all departments including bar and catering if applicable.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting.
- Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and implement strategies for profitability while maintaining high service standards.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a talented team aligned with the restaurant’s goals.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a friendly, professional environment.
- Collaborate with culinary staff on food production, menu planning, and special event catering to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant.
Experience
- Bartending
- Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with an emphasis on food safety standards.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of food handling regulations, budgeting processes, and food industry best practices.
- Experience managing diverse teams including interviewing candidates, shift scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Prior involvement in fine dining or hotel restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
