International Concepts currently seeks a part- time custodian to work in an area on highway 280; hours are Monday-Friday 6pm-9pm. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces looking their best.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, recycling collection, and restocking supplies to ensure a tidy environment at all times.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and industrial cleaning projects as needed.
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support general porter duties like moving furniture or equipment to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment operation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines diligently.
