We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Portland on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for filling and servicing the carbon dioxide and nitrogen cylinders used to inflate life rafts of various sizes. This is a critical safety position that offers excellent flexibility, making it ideal for someone looking for a steady, low-stress gig to supplement their schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Cylinder Recharging: Safely and accurately fill CO2 and nitrogen cylinders for a wide variety of marine life rafts.
- Quality Control: Inspect, weigh, and test cylinders to ensure they meet exact specifications and safety standards.
- Inventory Support: Keep up with incoming rafts, ensuring cylinders are ready to go when needed.

Qualifications
- Comfortable handling compressed gas cylinders and operating standard mechanical valves, gauges, and scales.

- Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to manage your time effectively week-to-week.
- Experience with gas and gas filling is a plus but not required!
