Maintenance Clerk

- Weekends as Needed - Weekend Availability
- Rate $26.00/hour
SUMMMARY:
This role is a critical pillar within the Maintenance Department and plays a key role in driving inventory management efforts. The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for managing parts inventory, maintaining accurate parts and materials data within the CMMS, and overseeing the process to ensure adequate stocking levels of maintenance parts and materials.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, and housekeeping requirements while working in the parts room and plant areas
- Maintain MPulse - CMMS system inventory; as per min/max.
- Communicate to maintenance members when parts arrive.
- Track purchase orders for parts and inventory monthly and report as required
- Maintain all work centers in a 5s standard.
- Maintain historical files and prepare reports for management.
- Maintaining accurate part labels, bin locations, and storage standards.
- Issue parts to Maintenance personnel and ensure all parts are accurately recorded against the appropriate work order or sign-out sheet.
- Verify received parts for correct quantity, part number, condition and supporting documentation before stocking.
- Follow the ABC method on establishing inventory and maintaining critical spares parts
- Coordinate with Maintenance Planner in advance Kiting parts ahead for planned working
- Maintain parts to be sent out for rebuilds
- Work with MRO Buyer on inventory Gap Analysis and inventory improvement efforts
- Review work orders for inventory accuracy against daily sign out sheets.
- Perform daily cycle counts and report out weekly.
- Organize and maintain the parts room and storage areas to ensure they remain clean and efficient.
- Receive daily deliveries from receiving dock.
- Pick up time sensitive parts as needed.
- Collaborate with MRO Buyer, Maintenance, Planning and Production teams to support timely parts availability while delivering effective communication.
- Support the plant in continuous improvement efforts.

The Maintenance Clerk will report to the Maintenance Manager

· Previous experience in a maintenance/manufacturing environment
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage timelines
· Proficiency maintaining an organized and clean work area.
· Ability to work in a team environment
· High level of Communication skills required (listening, written, and oral)
· Forklift experience preferred
· Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts (M-F 6:30am – 3pm), may require working overtime
· Language: English (Required)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
Computer Skills
- Basic competency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic competency with MPulse CMM System

Work takes place in the manufacturing environment. There may be exposure to extreme temperatures, moving machinery, loud noises, strong odors, and fumes. Interior floors near entrances and exits may become slippery during wet conditions. Personal protective equipment may be required.
