The Opportunity
Aubergine Kitchen is a fast-growing, health-forward fast-casual brand with restaurant locations across Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Idaho — with more markets on the horizon. As we scale toward our next phase of growth, we're building the infrastructure, systems, and team that will get us there.
This role sits at the center of that growth. You'll work in close partnership with our CEO, helping execute on new store openings, key vendor relationships, product development initiatives, and the daily operations of our headquarters. This isn't a role where you'll be handling logistics from a distance; you'll be in the room, in the meetings, and trusted with the details that make a growing company run smoothly.
For the right person, this is a rare opportunity: outsized visibility into how a company scales, direct mentorship from company leadership, and the chance to help shape the culture of our office as we grow the team around you. As Aubergine adds new roles and continues building out its office team, you'll be one of the people who helped lay that foundation.
What You'll Do
Executive support (primary focus, CEO)
● Manage CEO's calendar, meetings, travel, and expenses
● Participate in meetings alongside the CEO, helping track decisions and follow-through
● Support the CEO in product development and procurement initiatives
● Serve as a trusted point of contact with key vendors and partners on the CEO's behalf Calendar support (COO)
● Manage the COO's calendar and scheduling needs, and assist with occasional related tasks (e.g., coordinating meeting agendas) as needed
New store openings
● Support the CEO through the store-opening process: coordinating purchases, scheduling and attending meetings with architects and designers, and assisting with permit applications
Office & organizational management
● Manage, purchase, and replenish office supplies
● Manage significant purchases on behalf of the organization
● Own and maintain basic internal company systems
● Help shape the day-to-day culture and operations of a growing office
What Makes This Role a Fit for You
This role blends Executive Assistant, Office Manager, and Chief of Staff responsibilities — which means no two weeks look exactly alike. You'll thrive here if you're the kind of person who:
● Stays organized and unshaken when priorities shift quickly
● Takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
● Handles sensitive information — financial, personal, strategic — with absolute discretion
● Builds trust quickly with executives, vendors, and teammates alike
● Wants real proximity to decision-making, not just administrative tasks
What We're Looking For
● Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or Office Manager — ideally
supporting C-level leadership
● Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and financial responsibility with
integrity
● Strong project coordination skills — comfortable managing multiple workstreams (a vendor
negotiation, a permit application, a calendar conflict) at once
● Excellent written and verbal communication; confidence interfacing with external partners on the
CEO's behalf
● A proactive, mature, high-trust operating style — someone who anticipates needs rather than
waiting to be asked
● Experience in a small or scaling company is a plus; comfort with ambiguity is a must
