Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings, including lighting, wiring, panels, and low voltage systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical work
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project timelines
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic diagrams
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician with knowledge of industrial electrician practices preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical codes such as NEC and low/high voltage regulations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and schematics for complex electrical systems
- Experience working on construction sites, including framing carpentry and handyman tasks when needed
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician experience is a plus
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage applications, and renovation projects
- Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and follow detailed procedures

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
