American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - First Assist (RNFA) for a perioperative OR position requiring CNOR certification and a CA RN license.

Operating Room (OR) setting
-
10-hour mid shifts, 0630–1700
-
Weekday call required: on-call from end of shift until at least 2300, minimum 1 day per week
-
Weekend call required: at least 1 continuous weekend (Friday–Monday, starting 0630) per 6-week period

Active CA RN license required
-
CNOR certification required
-
BLS (AHA) required
-
ACLS (AHA) required
-
PALS (AHA) preferred

Minimum 3 years of OR/perioperative experience required

Active, unrestricted license with no prior disciplinary actions on record

Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years

Skills checklist for OR/perioperative specialty, completed within the past year

Functions as a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) in the OR

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract

Candidates must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months to be considered
