We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support a large-scale commercial/industrial construction project in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Perform HVAC equipment installation, startup, testing, and system adjustments.
- Install and connect ductwork, piping, controls, and related HVAC components.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and HVAC plans.
- Perform preventive maintenance and verify proper system operation.
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain construction schedules and jobsite safety.
- Follow applicable codes, specifications, and company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
- EPA certification preferred.
- Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour
