Position Summary
The Part-Time Housekeeper helps keep guest rooms, hermitages, and shared spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, hermitages, bathrooms, and shared spaces.
- Change bedding and towels.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
- Restock housekeeping and guest supplies.
- Empty trash and recycling.
- Report maintenance or supply needs.
- Help prepare spaces for arriving guests.
- Assist with other housekeeping needs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Dependable and attentive to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Welcoming and respectful toward people of all backgrounds and spiritual traditions.
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.
- Able to perform the physical tasks required for housekeeping.
Schedule
Part-time, typically 10–15 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on guest and retreat schedules and may include weekends.
