Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and tabs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the guest experience while staying within operational guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs for restocking or ordering.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures while balancing registers at shift end.
Experience
- Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within fine dining or upscale hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, brewing processes, and craft beer trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically.
- Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, catering setups, banquet service, and retail math is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior bar management or supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
