Job description
We are looking for a cook/teacher to join our growing team to serve the nutritional needs of 135 children and teach our children as well.
The ideal candidate will help our primary cook with the following duties:
- Prepare snacks and meals following posted menus and nutrition regulations.
- Determine meal and snack count and distribute food to each classroom.
- Remove trays and leftovers from classrooms and dispose accordingly.
- Perform weekly food and supply inventory; submit a list of needed items to the primary cook.
- Receive, unpack, and store supply deliveries. Ensure the accuracy of the order received.
- Keep kitchen, including appliances, cabinets, and all inventory, organized and clean under the guidance of the cook.
- Step into the classrooms as an assistant teacher as needed.
- As requested, attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and academy events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
