Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Christian Retail Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product merchandising, and ensure the smooth operation of all daily store activities. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise according to store standards
- Educate customers about what we can offer them
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain proper merchandising displays and ensure the store is clean and organized
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and balance cash register at the end of day
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and inventory counts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person
- Assist other team members as needed, fostering a teamwork environment
- Small staff so dependability and reliability are a must
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Ability to perform retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Some basic bilingual/ Spanish skills would be helpful but not a requirement to serve diverse customer base
- Experience with upselling, and merchandising techniques
- Knowledge and experience in retail sales environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash handling and sales calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional Christlike demeanor
- Must be comfortable to work solo as well as with others in a retail setting while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
