Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting paint, hardware, gardening supplies, lawn care products, outdoor décor and more.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with seasonal products and gardening essentials.
- Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory checks to ensure product availability.
- Assist customers with E-commerce orders, returns, and inquiries to enhance their shopping experience across multiple channels.
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly, including lawn care techniques, maintenance tips, as well as paint projects.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in garden centers or home improvement stores. As well as multitasking.
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscapes, paint projects as well as gardening is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transactions.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Organizational skills for stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and managing inventory efficiently.
- Passion for customer service with a proactive attitude to assist shoppers in finding the right products for their projects.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
