Position Description
Day Custodian
Status: Part time, hourly non-exempt
Pay Rate: $17.00-$20.00/hr, maximum 24 hours/wk
Shift: Job share, flexible on days; shift approx. 10am-6pm M-F; Could split shift or work on selected days. Flexibility to work some weekend shifts for events
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Duties:
· Perform regular cleaning duties/trash removal (including dusting, vacuuming, sweep/mop, disinfecting of surfaces) of common areas such as restrooms, hallways, offices, and cafeteria on a daily basis while school is in session
· As part of a crew, provide a deep clean of classrooms, strip and wax floors, and other special cleaning projects during summer months
· Possibility of assisting with indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks as needed
· Other related duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor

Skill Requirements:
· High School diploma/GED (preferred)
- Must be able to pass BCI/FBI criminal background check and other Diocesan compliance requirements
· Dependable, Responsible, Willing to go the extra mile, Attention to detail
· Must be able to work independently
· Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
