Randash Auto Center is seeking an experienced Diagnostic / Heavy Line Technician to join our growing Bozeman team. This position offers the best of both worlds: the stability of guaranteed hourly pay and the earning potential of a performance-based bonus structure.
Top-performing technicians can earn up to $475 per week in bonuses at 60+ flat-rate hours, with additional bonus increases available at higher production levels.
Unlike many shops, you're not competing for work. We provide a consistent workflow, steady hours, and a professional environment where quality repairs and accurate diagnostics are valued.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Limited Saturday coverage rotation as needed, with adjusted weekday scheduling
- Consistent 40-hour work weeks
Compensation & Benefits
- $33-$37 per hour DOE

What You'll Do
- Diagnose complex drivability concerns
- Perform advanced engine diagnostics and repairs
- Diagnose and repair transmission and drivetrain systems
- Complete engine replacements and major mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring concerns, modules, sensors, and parasitic draws
- Repair suspension, steering, and brake systems
- Utilize scan tools and live data to accurately identify vehicle concerns
- Document diagnostics and repair recommendations thoroughly
- Assist and provide technical guidance to other technicians when appropriate
Please note: We do not service diesel vehicles.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of automotive diagnostic experience
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of scan tool diagnostics and live data analysis
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Personal tools required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and pride in quality workmanship
