Job Overview
We are looking for E1 & E2 Licensed Electricians for a large commercial project in Waterbury CT. You must hold a Connecticut Electrical license card and valid OSAH 10 or OSHA 30. This project will last 6 months+ and looking for an immediate start.
Overtime is available as the site is open to 56 hours/week.
We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, performing installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems. The Electrician will utilize various tools and equipment, including ammeters and ohmmeters, to ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations.
We our an electrical staffing company, with our difference being we only hire electricians and only work with electrical contractors, better helping our electricians in the field as we are only looking for electrical projects for you to work on.
Duties
- Main responsibility is switch gear, fire alarms, lighting, low volt
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Conduct tests using ammeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local building codes during all installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and testing equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on construction sites.
- Certification or relevant licensing as an Electrician is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
