Summary
The Sales Manager (in-person) will work directly with the Corporate Sales Team in Beachwood, Ohio. This position is responsible for the solicitation, planning, strategy, booking, and execution of all private events across all 14 Hyde Park Restaurant Group restaurants. The ideal candidate is highly organized, guest-focused, and personable, with administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to respond to guests and team members in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
The Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for managing private event inquiries while ensuring guests receive exceptional service throughout the booking process.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating a positive guest interaction that builds anticipation for each upcoming event.
- Providing accurate information to guests regarding the restaurant, private dining options, and special events.
- Answering incoming phone calls, qualifying inquiries, and guiding guests through the booking process.
- Preparing proposals, contracts, estimates, and coordinating site tours.
- Creating monthly recaps of leads and sales activity.
- Preparing Sales & Catering kits and maintaining sales materials as appropriate.
- Managing office supplies and ordering materials as needed.
- Updating the Sales System with actual event information upon completion.
- Performing administrative tasks related to private events and maintaining accurate records.
- Working closely with restaurant management and the Corporate Sales Team to ensure seamless event execution.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous experience booking private events in a hospitality environment, as well as prior banquet and/or restaurant management experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and familiarity with restaurant POS systems and OpenTable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
