Role Description:
This is a part time, on-site role for an entry level Design Assistant in the New York Metropolitan Area. The design assistant will help with pattern cutting and adjusting, organizing, and keeping stock of inventory. They will check up on collections, keep their finger on the pulse of the fashion world for silhouettes and styles, and provide overall help to those in the studio. Additionally, they will help the designer when it comes to scheduling, deadlines, and timelines that must be adhered to.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Pattern cutting experience is a plus
- Ability to assist with quality control
- Able to get around NY to pick up patterns, fabrics, trimmings
- Fashion experience is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
