Seeking a full-time Truck Mechanic for our Operations here in West Michigan. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, diesel equipment, and trucks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles -Front end alignments -Swapping out of transmissions
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for repairs and maintenance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the fleet
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and repair techniques
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Experience with soldering, welding, and tire service is a plus
