Ashchi Heart & Vascular Center is searching for a qualified technologist to join our expanding Outpatient Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular suite.
We are seeking a team players who will join our dedicated team of experienced professionals delivering high quality care in a beautiful outpatient facility in Jacksonville, FL.
The following is a list of the major responsibilities of the Cath Lab Technologist. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive summary and additional responsibilities will be assigned, as the need is determined.
- Maintain and operate cath lab and recovery equipment.
- Use sterile techniques, set up and maintain the appropriate instrument and supply table for various procedures performed in the cath lab.
- Maintain adequate inventory of supplies for cath lab operations, reorder as necessary.
- Transport patients from preparation area to cath lab.
- Prepare the patient for and monitor patient during and after cath lab procedure
- Assist the physicians in various cath lab procedures, including peripheral interventions
- Maintain and operate image processing equipment..
- Collect, record and analyze complex physiological and lab data.
- Safely transport patients to recovery and monitor patients during transport.
- Maintain a clean environment in the cath lab and recovery areas.
- Assist physicians in preparing cath lab reports and enter data as required.
- Perform sheath removal as needed
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Current licensure/certification RCIS (preferred) or RT
BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
ACLS from the American Heart Association is required.
Required Experience:
1-2 years – Cath Lab experience
Preferred Experience:
Invasive Peripheral Vascular interventions
